Letters to No One In Particular

Whatever you two are it’s adorable. <3 Go Get A Roomie

Whatever you two are it’s adorable. <3 Go Get A Roomie

I’ve decided I want to be like Roomie and just crash at a ton of peoples houses and have tons of physical flirtationships, then find a Lillian of my own and settle down. Or maybe I want a Roomie of my own to settle down. I don’t know, all I know is I want to be like them with someone special. Gotta love Go Get a Roomie.

I’m a big fan of the Penny And Aggie webcomic, but what the fuck is going on?

Can I just say how much I love Lizzie Cooper and Alice? I mean Black Monday Blues is alright, and Lou the Plumber makes me smile. I don’t even know what the hell happened to Stacy but she’s awesome and I hope she isn’t dead. But aaahh… Cooper and Alice are my favorite.

Oh man, Dead Winter is really good and the artwork has improved sooooo much since the beginning. I’m on like.. chapter 6 now I think? Oh man, it’s awesome.

HONESTLY CAN EVERYONE PLEASE GO WATCH THIS MOVIE LIKE..ASAP?!
I gotta say, the only reason people don’t know about it is because it was poorly advertised. The trailers were terrible, and I understand there wasn’t much they could work with because of the gore and revealing too much plot, but really, the advertisements totally made this movie look like a cheap comedy when in reality it was one of the best super hero action films of the year, if not the best. The combat choreography is outstanding, the characters are unique, and the plot is both engaging and extremely entertaining, both comical and dramatic. Even Nicholas Cage, who I usually do not like, provides an enjoyable performance as Big Daddy, particularly in his choice to use awkward laughter and speech patterns as a character trait. Most impressive is Chloë Grace Moretz, who truly steals the spotlight playing the highly lethal combat artist and weapons expert Hit-Girl. Although I like her costume better in the comic, Chloë did an amazing job with the role, capturing Hit-Girl’s attitude quite accurately. And in all seriousness, I enjoyed Aaron Johnson’s portrayal of Dave Lizewski much more than the original comic book character, he’s not such a self-centered douche. Even the choice of music within the film is awesome.
I must add that this movie is very different from the original comic, however, I think it would be best to view them as separate works, because both have their strong points and are entirely engaging. So, I recommend this movie, as well as the comic. (READ THE COMIC FIRST THOUGH)
Seriously, Go watch it though.
Disclaimer- Apparently people are really pissed about this movie cause Hit-girl is only 11ish and she swears like throughout the entire thing and then mercilessly kills a bunch of people… but..get the fuck over it, it’s a movie.. and an awesome one at that. AND SERIOUSLY.. NOT ALL MOVIES ARE MEANT TO HAVE SOME DEEP MORAL MESSAGE. It’s not saying “it’s ok to go out and murder people for vengeance and substitute your daughters childhood desires with a thirst for blood and violence” like people are claiming it does. Yea, there are some seriously warped perspectives of good and evil, even the definition of Hero, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s not generic. There are no real superheros in this world, and this is a very accurate interpretation of what could happen if some kid decided to dress up and act like one. And yea, there’s a lot of blood, violence, and word “fuck” is said like… once every minute, if not more, for the first half of the movie, so be prepared.
